Eugene O’Connor began his career at Element Pictures in Dublin working on THE GUARD and other productions before moving over to London where he joined the eOne distribution team and worked on a slew of publicity campaigns including 12 YEARS A SLAVE, I, DANIEL BLAKE and THE BFG.

After over five years with eOne he moved on to Premier where he worked in the film team across UK, International and unit on a number of leading campaigns, highlights being THE FAVOURITE, THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN and NORMAL PEOPLE for TV. After five years at Premier, O’Connor became the Director of Film supporting Jonathan Rutter in leading the team. In June 2023 he joined new UK distributor Black Bear as VP Publicity across their UK slate and international work.
